Esto permite que se entrelacen mejor en la hilatura ya que hay m\u00e1s puntos de contacto entre las fibras, por lo tanto son m\u00e1s resistentes, con mejor tracci\u00f3n (o sea, tienen mayor tolerancia a la fricci\u00f3n) y con m\u00e1s suavidad. La contra es el escaso espacio para su cultivo.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El Pima, es el algod\u00f3n de Per\u00fa. Tambi\u00e9n posee una gran calidad debido a que sus fibras tienen un promedio de 3.5 cm, otorg\u00e1ndole las mismas caracter\u00edsticas que el egipcio. La ventaja es que este algod\u00f3n est\u00e1 m\u00e1s cerca geogr\u00e1ficamente y su producci\u00f3n es mayor que el anterior.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El algod\u00f3n com\u00fan, tiene fibras con promedio de 2.5 cm de largo que lo hace m\u00e1s \u00e1spero debido a que se necesitan m\u00e1s fibras (en comparaci\u00f3n a los otros dos) para hacer el hilado pero igualmente sigue siendo buen\u00edsimo, sobre todo porque es m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mico!
